The moment has arrived

The movie comes out tonight!

It got an A- from the paper so I hope it's up to scratch.

Anyways, thought I'd inform the public
Interesting information found on J.K. Rowling's site.

Around the time she was writing Half-Blood Prince (which I will now refer to as HBP) she was pregnant with her 3rd child.

That got me thinking about all the strange pairing we saw in HBP.

Is Harry Potter love really the work of pregnancy hormones?

*Note-I'm just joking, although she might have been pregnant...I highly doubt that she it was hormones creating those pairings.*

And now for some factual information:

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (the movie) comes out November 18th, so as of today...you have about...34 days to reserve ticket/make your wizard robes in preparation to hang out with the weirdos at the premire.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince summary found on book jacket:

It's the middle of the summer, but there is an unseasonal mist pressing on the windowpanes. Harry Potter is waiting nervously in his bedroom at the Dursleys' home in Privit drive for a visit from Professor Dumbledore himself. One of the last times he saw the Headmaster was in a fierce one-to-one battle with Lord Voldemort, and Harry can't quite believe that Professor Dumbledore will actually appear at the Dursleys' of all places. Why is the Professor coming to visit him now? What is it that cannot wait until Harry returns to Hogwarts in a few weeks' time? Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts has already gotten off to an unusual start, as the world of Muggle and magic start to intertwine...

Whoa...that was cool

In other news: the Pope hates Harry Potter

That is all
Roughly 2 days to go... 07-13-05 21:13
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is scheduled for a release in 2 days time. A full picture of the cover jacket has been released, it's too large to put up here, so go to this link and you will find it.

It's been speculated that with the release of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" just the day before the new book is released, there will be many less people at the movie and many more waiting anxiously at bookshops.

There will be celebrations for the upcoming book at Powells and Barnes and Noble on the evening of Friday the 15th of July.

I leave you with these words of wisdom:

(Discussing Harry's Christmas sweater)
"You haven't got a letter on yours, I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid-we know we're called Gred and Forge."
-Fred and George Weasley

Word on the street is that the sixth book is based upon some insignificant detail of the second book, and is also blatantly displayed in the second movie. I don't have any ideas yet as to what this detail is, even though I've picked through the ENTIRE second book and rewatched the second movie... to no avail. What do you think that it is? Or, do you even think that you want to know, or do you simply want to read the sixth book and find out?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Summary

British title: HP and the Philosopher's Stone

Harry Potter has never been the star of the quidditch team, scoring points while riding a room far above the ground. he knows no spells, has never helped to hatch a dragon, and has never wron a cloak of invisibility. All he knows is a miserable life with the Dursleys, his horrible aunt and uncle, and their abominable son, Dudly - a great big swollen spoiled bully. Harry's room is a tiny closet at the foot of the stairs, and he hasn't had a birthday party in eleven years. But all that is about to change when a mysterious letter arrives by owl messenger: a letter with an invitation to an incredible place that Haryy - and anyone who reads about him - will find unforgettable. For it's there that he finds not only friends, aerial sports, and magic in everything from classes to meals, but a great destiny that's been waiting for him... if Harry can survive the encounter.

Harry Potter's Journal (I stole it)
Today the Dursleys decided they'd all go to a football game, without me of course. Not that I wanted to go with them of course, I just wish that they could trust me enough to leave me at home, but the odds of that occuring are just about as good as Dudley losing weight. A.K.A. Never happening. So they sent me to Ms. Figg's house again. Now, I guess I wouldn't have minded it so much if maybe Ms. Figg wouldn't constantly show me photo albums filled with pictures of cats...I swear, every time I come there the cats have multiplied. I was counting them earlier today...but there were too many...
So, now I'm at home again, if you could call this home. I'm covered with cat scratches and I think there's a spider crawling up my pant leg...but no matter. Dudley is once again crying...I wonder what he wants this time, probably that PS...something from America...I swear, that boy gets whinier everytime I see him.
Well, I'd better go sleep before I go 'effing mad and kill every last one of them.

May the magic be with you (that was lame)

I figured...since I love Harry Potter so very much, that I should give him his very own blog.
Now, I know what you're thinking...

"If we give Harry his own blog we'll have to give Ron one, and then Hermione, and then Neville will want one, so that he fits in...then Draco will get one and post dirty things..."

Well, if you all want to get up off of your lazy arse's and do that, that's up to you...

This is a place for Harry Potter info...random tidbits I pick up...and cool pictures that I find. (oh, and maybe a post or two where I pretend to be harry...)

Have fun
