If anyone hasn't read the Half Blook Prince and cares that I'm spoiling something....TURN BACK NOW

Interesting information found on J.K. Rowling's site.

Around the time she was writing Half-Blood Prince (which I will now refer to as HBP) she was pregnant with her 3rd child.

That got me thinking about all the strange pairing we saw in HBP.

Is Harry Potter love really the work of pregnancy hormones?

*Note-I'm just joking, although she might have been pregnant...I highly doubt that she it was hormones creating those pairings.*

And now for some factual information:

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (the movie) comes out November 18th, so as of today...you have about...34 days to reserve ticket/make your wizard robes in preparation to hang out with the weirdos at the premire.

End Transmission

However, I have financial aid that covers just under $30,000/year. Last year I paid about $8,000 out of my pocket and got about $3,000 in interest free stafford/perkins loans. That covered it for me, as I am fairly frugal and lived in less expensive than average housing, ate less (expensive) food, did not have a car or such payments and bought books used on the internet, etc. The $8k was saved from Albertsons, so this coming year is a lot more of a problem.

Bottom line is this: There is always a way to make ends meet. You're a smart, confident and resourceful young adult and as long as you aren't too afraid to ask for help (I got $9k more in financial aid by discussing my package with someone high up in the financial aid department) or take a few loans.

Put loans in perspective, too. Federal loans are interest free until you graduate and then are extremely low interest. My sister took out the maximum loan she could every semester in college and she pays about $50/month for the next 10 years. Kinda sucks, however, keep in mind because of her college degree she now makes about $2000 more a month for the rest of her life than she would otherwise. In perspective it ain't so bad.

Best of luck to you and I'm always here if you need ideas for paying for school (my dad is an accountant who has taught me much).
